Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 28, 2026 | Last Updated: July 2026
1. Overview
Southern Voices Printing Press (SVPP) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information and intellectual material you share with us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide printing, publishing, and editorial services effectively. This includes:
- Contact Information: Full name, business/institutional affiliation, email address, phone number, and physical mailing address.
- Manuscripts and Uploaded Media: Drafts, cover artwork, vector files, and PDF press files submitted for review, layout, or printing.
- Transaction Data: Payment confirmations, invoice details, order histories, and shipping details.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and user navigation behavior recorded via cookies for site optimization.
3. Intellectual Property Protection & Confidentiality
SVPP claims no ownership over manuscripts, designs, or artwork submitted by authors, publishers, or clients for printing or publishing estimates. All intellectual material remains strictly confidential and will not be redistributed, printed without authorization, or shared with third parties outside essential production vendors.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used strictly for:
- Fulfilling print job estimations, ISBN registrations, and publishing contracts.
- Processing orders placed on our website or through integrated partner channels (e.g., Shopee/Lazada).
- Communicating project milestones, proofing approvals, and order tracking updates.
5. Data Retention & Security
We enforce administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of your personal data. Digital files submitted for printing estimates are archived securely or purged upon client request after job fulfillment.
Visitor analytics retention. Technical data used for site analytics — the IP address recorded with a visit, together with the browser and navigation information described in section 2 — is kept for 180 days and is then deleted. Removal is automatic: records older than 180 days are purged as the visitor-tracking service runs.
No third-party sharing of analytics data. This visitor data is used only by us, for our own site analytics. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, and it is not used for third-party advertising. The only parties who handle material you submit are the essential production vendors and service providers described in section 3, who process it solely to deliver the service you requested.
6. Contact Data Privacy Officer
