The story of Uma, Biya, and Musi, three Manobo kids, is told in "Narinig Mo Na Ba Ang Agong?" while they wait for the promised schoolhouse to be built in their village. As they followed the unfolding of events, they learned the truth about the said promise, which led them to assist their families in choosing their own fate. Through rituals and musical instruments, the narrative also introduces the Manobo culture.
